Simple Pasta

A simple meal made exclusively from long-lasting ingredients, so it's easy to cook when you're hungry and haven't visited the store. Serve with bread, butter, and wine.

Simple Pasta
Ingredients spaghetti or perciatelli
olive oil
clove garlic
anchovies
grated parmesan or romano cheese
crushed red pepper, salt and pepper
tomato sauce or puréed tomatoes
Recipe Sauté garlic in olive oil, add 1 or 2 mashed anchovies. Coat freshly boiled al denté pasta with this mixture. Blend in a little tomato sauce and then lots of cheese -- the proportions should be such that the pasta is well-coated but essentially dry. Season to taste.
